Samuel Cerezo
PhD Student at Universidad de Zaragoza
I was born in 1994 in a city called San Juan, Argentina. When I was one year old, I went to live to Rincon de los Sauces, a small town in the province of Neuquen, with my 3 siblings and my parents.
In 2007 I moved with my family to the capital of the province, with the intention of attending high school with an electronics orientation. So it was that in 2013 I obtained the title of Electronic Technician by Instituto Tecnológico del Comahue (ITC). The following year I started my Electronic Engineering career at Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNCo). In 2020 and in the middle of the pandemic, I obtained Electronic Engineer title with the final project called Compressive Sensing Mapping System.
In 2021 I started my PhD in Computer and Systems Engineering at Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR), so I moved to the city of Zaragoza, Spain. I am currently in the second year of my doctorate.
I love my country, where there are huge variety of landscapes and awesome places for spending time and relaxing. I enjoy doing hiking and always better if it is done with good company :).
During my free time, I usually play soccer in a local tournament in Zaragoza, besides tennis and going to the gym. I also like to play the guitar and every sunday I play it in the mass of my parish.
